Theresa, I am so sorry to hear of Richards passing. I knew the last couple times you came in to Sackos he was having a hard time. I will always remember him .Sometimes when we chatted he'd have a twinkle in his eyes and a warm smile and I knew he was a special person. He will always remain a fond memory in my heart. I will always remember Richard as a leader in our Class of '58. He and I shared a common bond; we both came from Mullica Township--he from Elwood, and I from Nesco. He was a talented athlete and a very fine student. I am saddened by his passing and extend my sincerest condolences to his wife, children, and family.
When my cousin Richard was born, my uncle Vincent, his father , called him " The Lion Hearted" but Richard instead had a heart of gold, and the temperament of a lamb and the grace of a monarch. He was loved and will be well remembered. My sympathy to his family for his loss.
