James T. Speigel, age 74 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Thursday November 18, 2021. James was born in Camden, NJ and was a lifelong Hammonton resident. He was very active in the St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Hammonton where he was a former Sexton, served on the Vestry, and fill-in member of the choir. James worked for Lenox for over 20 years starting in 1982, he was also a member of their softball team. He was also a former member of the Free Masonic M.B. Taylor Masonic Lodge #141 James enjoyed golf and was a huge Phillies fan.
He is predeceased by his wife Karen (nee Murphy) and parents William S. and Mary (nee Britton) Speigel.
James is survived by his children Diane J. Conover (Chuck), Brian W. Speigel, and Kevin J. Speigel (Christine). Loving grandfather to Tyler, Keith, and Cole Conover, and Luke, Jackson, and Charlotte Speigel.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, November 26, 2021 from 9:00-11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ with services to follow at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery 500 White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ 08037.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation P.O. Box 1066 Hammonton, NJ 08037.
