Jessie R. Penza

Jessie Penza ( nee Rizzotte ) age 95 of Hammonton, passed away Wednesday Sept. 22, 2010 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Joseph P.T.A.and W.B. Kessler Memorial Hospital Ladies Aux. Jessie was an influential and motivational force in the productivity of Penza's Pie Shop at The Red Barn for over 40 years. Jessie is predeceased by her husband James V. Penza and her son in law Dr. Frank J. Verdi.
Surviving are her daughters Evelyn Penza of Hammonton and Jo Ann Penza-Verdi of Haddonfield and her son James Penza and his wife Judy of Hammonton Jesse was the loving grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 7.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday 8:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parrish St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton. Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00am at the church. Entombment Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton.
