John J. Calletta age 94 of Hammonton, passed away February 19, 2016. He was born in Hammonton and a resident his entire life. John was a 1939 graduate of Hammonton High School and served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for Skinner Glass House as a glass smoother. John is predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Chiumento). He is survived by his 2 sons Dennis and his wife Denise of Sicklerville and John of Hammonton. Also, his sister Marie Santomas, brother in law Richard Santora and sister in law Jean Cannata all of Rancocas Woods, NJ. Loving grandfather of Chris Calletta and Jason (Andrea) Calletta and great-grandfather of Angelia Calletta. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday February 24th at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church; 3rd & French Sts. Hammonton, from 9:30am to 10:45am with Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am at the Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association 135 Parkinson Ave. Staten Island, NY 10305.
