Richard E. Henshaw

Richard E. Henshaw age 69 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on May 25, 2023.

Richard was a lifelong Hammonton resident and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1971. He played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and was named All State. He attended the University of Miami on a football scholarship.

Richard was employed by the Town of Hammonton prior to working at various casinos in Atlantic City in the Engineering/Maintenance departments. He Enjoyed skiing, fishing, crabbing, surfing and numerous outdoor activities.

Richard is predeceased by his parents Francis Scott, Sr. and Martha (nee Lock) Henshaw and his brothers Francis Scott Henshaw Jr. and Paul L. Henshaw.

He is survived by his son Richard W. Henshaw and daughter Jennifer L. Henshaw and his two granddaughters, Claire and Savannah Henshaw. He is also survived by his brothers: Thomas, Larry and his wife Louise, Robert and his wife Phyllis, sisters in law JoAnne Henshaw and Karen Henshaw, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held.
