Salvatrice 'Velia' Marano

Salvatrice "Velia" Marano ( nee Sapio ) age 81of Hammonton, NJ died Weds.
December 12, 2012 at her residence. Born in Montella, Italy she moved to Hammonton in 1973. She retired from Caesar's Hotel and Casino after 7 years. She also worked for several clothing companies in Hammonton. Velia was dedicated to the Blessed Mother
and would gather with her friends to pray the rosary. Predeceased by her husband, Felicino and her parents Alfonso and Carolina. Surviving are her 2 sons Alfonso
of Tulsa, OK and Marco of Hammonton, NJ. Dear sister of Erminio "Totto" Capone and his wife Tullia of Montreal, Canada and Lilia Menghini of Naples, Italy. Loving grandmother of Max and Molly Marano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 9:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ.
