Alfred "Mickey" Tomasello ,78, of Hammonton, formerly of Pleasantville, passed away on Monday March 19th, 2018, after a brief illness, at the Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Hammonton, NJ. Born in Atlantic City in 1939, Alfred attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Hammonton. He served in the United States Army before his decades of service as part of the Highway Maintenance Department for the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Alfred had a love for animals - especially his dog, Sheba. He was a volunteer for his local Humane Society. Alfred is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Tomasello, twin brother Carl, and younger brothers, Frank and Joseph. He is survived by his loving brother John (Pauline) of Folsom, New Jersey, cousin Bill Specht (Wisconsin), and many nieces and nephews. Service and burial will be private. Alfred will be laid to rest at the Atlantic City/Greenwood Cemetery in Pleasantville, NJ next to his devoted (and very missed) mother, Dorothy.
