Anna Marie R. Ingemi

Anna Marie R. Ingemi (nee Matro) age 81 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday April 27, 2024 at her residence.

Anna Marie was a lifelong Hammonton resident and parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph Church. She graduated from Trenton State College (TCNJ) and Rutgers University in Camden. Anna Marie taught in the Audubon and Hammonton School District before starting a second career as a certified public accountant. She was a devoted mother and an avid Army Football fan. Anna Marie was an honorary commander at Joint Base MDL.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Ingemi, Sr., her parents James and Anna (Bartolone) Matro and her brother Gaetano “James” Matro.

Anna Marie is survived by her son Joseph F. Ingemi, Jr. and his wife Jen, sister in law Marty Matro, her many nieces and nephews, and her beloved pets.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Saturday May 4, 2024 at 11:00am all at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
