Annabel D. Arena

ARENA,
Annabel ( nee Donio ) age 87 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Friday March 6, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in the Rosedale section of Winslow Twp., she lived her whole life in Hammonton area. Annabel attended St. Joseph Grammar School, Lower Camden County Regional High School and Temple University. She worked in the banking business from 1947 to 1952. In 1955, Annabel joined the Donio family business and served as Secretary and Treasurer of Frank Donio, Inc. and Donio Trucking Co. until 1999. She remained a partner in Donio Leasing Company. Annabel served as an essential member of the Board of Directors of Frank Donio, Inc. for remainder of her life. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Millie Donio, and brothers Samuel A. and Frank G. Donio. Surviving are her husband of 63 years Joseph, daughter Judy Pape and her husband Tom of Mt. Laurel, NJ, sons Joseph J. Arena, Jr. and his wife Rose and David and his wife Lori all of Hammonton, NJ. Loving grandmother of Katie A. Kuehner and her husband Wayne Kuehner, Annie Pape, David Arena, Jr. Andrew, Alec and Nicholas Arena, Sisters in law, Diane Donio and Angela Donio and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Weds. evening from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and Thursday morning from 9:30am until 11:00am all at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 11:00am at the church. Entombment will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. In Lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178, Attn: Susan Wallach, Urology-MIS.In honor of Annabel's lifetime of generosity, we ask that you perform an act of kindness in her memory.
