Anthony C 'Turk' Curcio

Anthony C. "Turk" Curcio, age 85 of Hammonton, passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. Turk was born in Hammonton and a resident his entire life. He was a graduate of Hammonton High School, Class of 1944. He served in the US Army. Turk was a past member of Hammonton Board of Education, past president of Hammonton Exchange Club, he was an avid Phillies fan and bowler, he once bowled a perfect game. He was the owner/operator of Curcio Farms retiring at the age of 77. Turk is predeceaded by his wife Patricia. Surviving are his children Michael (LaShelle), Anthony, Robert( Lisa) and Cindy Young(Gary) all of Hammonton. Loving grandfather of Michael, Kearstin, Tony, Mark, Vincent, Bobbie Leigh, Robbie and Lauren Curcio, councilman Michael Torrissi Jr. and Carianne Torrissi Esq. Great grandfather of 6. Brother of Samuel Curcio (Lucy) of Hammonton and Jeanne Pelle of Haddonfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday evening after 6:30 pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 12:00pm at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church 3rd and French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery Blue Anchor.
