Anthony Pagano, age 48 of Hammonton, passed away peacefully Monday May 16, 2011 in his sleep after a four year battle with cancer. He was a 1981 graduate of Hammonton High School and also played and coached Hammonton Little League Baseball. He formerly worked for RE Michael's Mechanical as a truck driver and also worked for Statewide Hi-Way Safety, Inc. . Anthony was the consummate sports fan, following faithfully the Phillies, Flyers and the Dallas Cowboys. Known as "D.J. Pags"he played music in many places throughout the area. Anthony was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge 1658.
Anthony is lovingly survived by his mother Virginia, his father and step mother Anthony and Nona Pagano. Brother of Frank Pagano and his wife Stephanie and Lisa Horton and her husband Jim Loving uncle of Frank Jr. and Valerie Pagano, Hunter, Ryan and Jimmy Horton IV. Nephew of Mary Benedetto, Rachel Piccari, Ann Marie (Larry) Young and Angie Mauro. Cousin to Joseph (Kim) Piccari, David (Sandy) Piccari, Kreshia Rhew and Louis (Terry) Mauro.
Also survivied by special caring friend Jeff Guzman. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his viewing Sat. 8:30 am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Service will be 11:00am at Abundant Living Church 849 Rt#54 Buena Vista Twp. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery.
