Anthony M. Gabris, Sr.

Anthony M. Gabris, Sr. age 82 of Sweetwater, NJ passed away peacefully Sunday October 9, 2022, at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Bartram High School in 1957.

He went on the serve in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. After his discharge for the Coast Guard, he worked as an Engineer for General Electric Aerospace Division & Lockheed Martin from the Philadelphia office. He served as a Mullica Township committee person and was instrumental in the redevelopment of the Hilda S Frame Elementary School as a Mullica Township Historic Society Committee Member.

He is predeceased by his parents Alexander and Jean Gabris, his wife Margaret (nee Kilday) and his brother Alex.

Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony M. Gabris, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Collingswood, NJ, Christopher Gabris and his wife Barbara of Hammonton, NJ, Michael Gabris of Sweetwater, NJ, Michele Ryan and her husband Jay of Audubon, NJ and Colleen Gabris of Audubon, NJ. A sister Denise Fidura of Marlton, NJ. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Anthony M. Gabris, III, Gina, Stefanie and Sanibel Gabris and Kenneth Anderson.

Family and friends are invited to his viewing Friday October 14, 2022 from 8:30 – 10:30 am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church, Third & French Sts. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S. 1st Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
