Antoinette Valentino (nee Lucca), age 83 of Hammonton, passed away December 25, 2011 at her residence. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident and attended Hammonton High School. Antoinette and her husband Frank were owners of Gem Restaurant for many years. She made many trips to her patron Saint Padre Pio in Buena, whom she loved and prayed always for everyone. Antoinette worked for Consolidated Pants and Ubia sportswear, also Malinsky's Dept.Store. She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers, I.L.G.W.U. Antoinette enjoyed going on bus trips to the casinos, shopping with her family, cooking and canning foods. She was also a caretaker for Christina and Jennifer Pinto. Antoinette is predeceased by her husband Frank and her parents Leo and Josephine Lucca, her sister Mary C. and her husband Albert Winner and Marion Grasso, her brothers Salvatore, Leo and Alfred Lucca and wife Elva, Michael, Pat, Benny and Andrew Grasso, and her sister in law Peggy Valentino, brother in law Henry Berenato Sr. her beloved dog Nippi Berstler Surviving are her daughter Sharon and her husband John Berstler, her sister Rose J. Berenato, sister in laws Rita and Florence Lucca, Rita Stafford, Jennie Valentino and her husband Edward and brother in law Albert Valentino. Loving aunt to Jay and MaryAnn Winner, Stephan Winner, Linda and Bill Stark, Brenda and Tom Drodge, David and Chris Lucca, Albert and Cathy Valentino, Kenny Valentino, Edward Valentino Jr., Scott Valentino, Janine Valentino, Linda and Michael McLaughlin, Gary, Frankie, Johnny and Stevie Stafford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 9:00am with services at 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N Third St., Hammonton.
