Antonietta Martin

Antonietta Martin ( nee DelGesso ) age 86 of Waterford, NJ passed away Sunday May 28, 2017 at the Arden Courts of Cherry Hill, NJ. Born in Italy, she lived in Waterford for many years. She was a talented seamstress and loved to make clothes for her granddaughters whether it was for formal communion dresses, costumes, or clothes for their dolls. She could make any gourmet meal and never used a recipe. She had an open door policy and treated all the neighborhood kids as they were hers. She is predeceased by her husband John Peter Martin, Sr. Surviving are her son John P. Martin, Jr. and his wife Dina of Ocean City. NJ and daughter Maria Ruggiero, and her husband Rich of Sewell, NJ. Loving grandmother of 6, 3 Step Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 9:30am - 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church Third & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Mass will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 300 W. White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ.
