Armando S. age 84 of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2016 in Galloway Twp, NJ.
Born in Hammonton,NJ and raised on Tilton St.
Armando served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany in 1949 when his hometown won the Little League World Series. Armando was a former member of the Sons of Italy Lodge 1658. He enjoyed coffee at the Diner, friends at the Maplewood, and Horse Racing. Predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Lucy Giorno; one brother Mario Giorno; two sisters Sarah Crane, and Concetta Giorno; and one granddaughter, Stacy Giorno. Surviving are his two sons, Nick (Connie) of Richland,NJ and Joseph (Lisa) of Hammonton, NJ; One brother, Rudy Giorno of Folsom, NJ. Loving grandfather of Lindsey, Victoria, and Brianna Giorno. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Saturday February 13, 2016 from 9:30 -11am with a service beginning at 11:00:am at Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 1St Rd. Hammonton.
