Benigno 'Benny' Acevedo

Benigno " Benny" Acevedo, age 87of Tampa, Fl and formerly of Hammonton, NJ passed away January 9, 2013 at his residence. Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico he lived in Hammonton and was the past President of the Puerto Rican Civic Association from 1978-1979. He owned and operated Benny's Corner Store in Pleasantville. Predeceased by his parents Andres Acevedo and Vincenta Cruz, daughter Elizabeth Acevedo and Sister Iris Santiago. Surviving are his children Benny and Herminio and his wife Tilly Acevedo, Marizel Guerere and her husband Anthony, Wanda Acevedo, Gina Marie Watson and Amarilis Acevedo. Dear brother of Carlos and Juan Acevedo, Juanita Romero and Lucy Perez. Loving Grandfather of A.J. and Gina Guerere and Kristen Reid. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday 10:00am - 11:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held at 11:30am. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
