Bruce DeMarco, age 68 of Atlantic City, NJ and formerly of Hammonton passed away at AtlantiCare in Atlantic City, NJ on Monday November 20, 2023, from injuries sustained in a fall at his residence.
He was born and raised in Hammonton where he graduated from Hammonton High School and also the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania. Bruce was an information technology expert, and worked at many casino and hotel properties both in the US and the Bahamas.
Bruce is predeceased by his parents Carmen and Mary DeMarco and his brother Carmen Charles DeMarco Jr, also known as Chuckie. He is survived by his sister Cheryl DeMarco of Lancaster PA and his nieces Amy DeCicco of Brooklyn NY, married to Jay Carlson, and Judi DeCicco of Seattle, Washington, married to Ben Huff, as well as many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday December 2, 2023 from 9am-10am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held at 10:00am at the funeral home, followed by a private burial. While Bruce’s life over the last decades has been turbulent, we hope to share stories and celebrate the smart, funny person he was before alcohol addiction took all of that away.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bruce’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
