Calvin Stewart Beebe

Calvin Stewart Beebe, age 80 of Mullica Twp., NJ, passed away Saturday December 28, 2013 at AtlantiCare Health Care in Galloway, NJ. Born in Somers Point, NJ he was raised in Waterford, NJ. He attended Hammonton public schools before graduating from Valley Forge Military Academy in 1953. Calvin went on to serve in the U.S. Army during Korean Conflict. He started with Lenox China in 1957, was a member of the bowling league, retired as a Processing Engineer after 37 years of service and was awarded October employee of the month in 1989. He was a member of the Cooper Swamp Gunning Club in Tuckahoe. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Melba Beebe and his niece Janet Petkevis. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, his true generosity and pleasant personality. Surviving is his loving wife of over 56 years, Carla ( nee Crowley ). His sister Janet Iona and her husband Joseph of Mullica Twp. NJ. He will be sadly missed by his nephews, Thomas, Bruce and Carey Iona, Great niece and great nephews Lauren, Karen, Thomas and Bruce Iona and his Aunt Carolyn Stewart. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:00 am - 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held at 11:00am.
