Catherine G. Dixon

Catherine G. Dixon, age 90 passed away Tuesday August 3, 2009 at her home peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Thomas & Phyllis Amedio, she lived in Hammonton all her life. Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Society and Hammonton Senior Citizens. Catherine enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, going to the casino and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. Predeceased by her sister Mary Mancuso and brothers Andrew, Nunzio, Joseph and Frank. Catherine is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 65 years George Dixon and their children Thomas (Christine) Dixon and George (Lynda) Dixon. Proud grandmother of Marianne (Donald) Leadley, Michele (Paul) Tome, Thomas (Tina) Dixon, Cathy (Eric) Dieffenbach, Jennifer (Gary) Castagna, George Matthew Dixon, Jamie (Keith) Zins-Gazes and Lauren Zins. Catherine will also be greatly missed by her 12 great-grandchildren, her brothers Anthony, Bill and Henry and many nieces and nephews Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 10:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 12:00pm at St. Joseph Church Third & French Sts. Hammonton. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
