Concetta R. "Connie" Previte

Concetta R. "Connie" Previte, age 67 of Vineland, NJ and formerly of Hammonton passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 following a courageous battle with a brief illness.

Connie was a longtime resident of Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School in 1972. From childhood, she was close friends with the Perez family who lived across the street. The girls were like sisters, and as everyone grew up, Connie became a titi to their children and kept an eye on their mom Doris, which was easy to do because they lived in the same apartment building in Vineland. Holidays were always brighter when Connie was there. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, watching her soap operas, spending time with her kitty, and getting exercise by walking wherever she could when the weather was nice. It wasn't uncommon for her to go on an adventure and take the Access Link from Vineland to Hammonton or Berlin to visit family and pick up some clams from Vitale's Clam Bar.

Connie is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Josephine (nee Guardino) Previte, many aunts and uncles, and her sweet kitty, Beebee. Left to carry on in her memory are numerous cousins, friends, friends who became family, and her kitty, Sophia. Whether you knew her as Concetta, Cousin, Auntie, or Titi, Connie left an imprint in all of our hearts and will be dearly missed.

We ask you to take a moment to remember Connie in ways that you feel honor her life. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to your local animal shelter because she loved animals. Plant a garden or buy a new houseplant because Connie loved her plants. Call a friend you haven't spoken to in a while. Make a homecooked meal, laugh out loud, and share all the memories. And don't forget to take a picture to capture that special day.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, September 20, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm with funeral services to follow, all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N. White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ.
