Concettina 'Connie' Tosto

Concettina "Connie" Tosto, 92 of Hammonton, passed away Friday May 1, 2009. Born in Hammonton, she was a resident all her life. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Grammar School, a member of St. Rita Society of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America #1680. Connie was a devoted member of St. Joseph Church and attended daily Mass. Connie owned and operated Connie's Candy store for over 50 years in front of her house, where children would look forward to purchasing penny candy at the end of the school day. Often generously giving the children extra. Connie is predeceased by her husband William and her son William Jr. Surviving are her son Eugene (Pamela) of Marlton, her daughter in law Roxanne Tosto of Vineland, her grandchildren Jessica (Jesse) Childs, Amy (Brian) Clauhs, Dillon and Michael Tosto. Loving great-grandmother of William and Gabriella Childs and Natalie Clauhs. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday evening after 6:30pm and Wed. morning after 8:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial Weds.10:00am at St. Joseph Church N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. The family requests donations to St. Joseph School 133 N.
