David C. Pastore, Sr.

David C. Pastore Sr., age 82 of Berlin, passed away suddenly on Sunday June 18, 2017 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees. Dave was a 1953 graduate of Lower Camden County Regional High School. He obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1957. Dave was commissioned to the U.S. Navy where he served active duty abroad ship as an officer. In 1959, he joined RCA as an engineer and was awarded three US Patents in Magnetic Heads and Reproducing Apparatus. He was promoted to engineering manager. Dave later retired from General Electric. He was a member of Berlin Town Council and president of Berlin Boro planning board
He is predeceased by his wife Carol (Chalk)Pastore, his parents Neil Sr. and Eleanor Pastore and his brother Neil Pastore Jr. Dave is survived by his children David C. Pastore, Jr. DMD of Berlin and Patricia Werner and her husband Robert of Voorhees. His grandchildren Bobby and Ryann with who he made many wonderful memories. His sister in law Bonnie Pastore of Hammonton, nephew Neil III and niece Jennifer. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday 9:30am with services at 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton.
