David Hascher, age 79 of Ocean City, NJ passed away Sunday December 18, 2011 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Pt. NJ. Born in Phila. PA, he and his wife Mary Ann lived in Ocean City since 1996. David graduated from Northeast High School, LaSalle College with a degree in Engineering and Physics and received his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He retired in 1995 from The Unisys Corporation in Paoli, PA as the Manager of Reliability. He was a member of the Ocean City Knights of Columbus Council and he achieved his 4th Degree. David served in the U.S. Naval Air Corp during the Korean War. David is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Agnes Hascher and brother Andrew Hascher. Surviving is his loving wife MaryAnn ( nee Dinella ), daughters Deborah Fronjian and her husband Harry of Marlton, NJ, Carolyn Wilson and her husband Michael of Havertown, PA. and Michele Goslin of Honeybrook, PA.. Loving grandfather of Michael, Patrick and Kyle Wilson, Joshua, Jennifer and Kelly Goslin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday Dec. 22nd from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Damien's Parish St. Augustine Church 1310 Ocean Ave. Ocean City, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery Rt # 40 Harding Highway Mays Landing, NJ. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Ocean City Knights of Columbus Council 2560, PO Box 1060, Ocean City, NJ 08226.
