Dominic L. Mascioli

Dominic L. Mascioli, age 88 of Hammonton, passed away at Heritage Assisted Living Facility on Tuesday Oct. 9, 2012. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie (nee Delconte) of 59 years in May 2008. He was also predeceased by his brother Rocco, and is survived by his brother Sam. Dominic is survived by his loving family, Lou (Michele) Mascioli, Donna (Robert) Armstrong, Dominic (Patti) Mascioli, and grandchildren, Lou Jr., Kristyn, Robyn Brazill (Jim), Lauren, Alyssa, Deanna and Michael. Upon graduating from Girard College, he served in the US Navy during WWII until his honorable discharge. Dominic worked for Formigli Corporation and Atlas Construction Company until retirement. He was a long standing member of Hammonton Volunteer Fire Co. #2. He played football for the Hammonton Peaches and enjoyed bowling in the town leagues. He was an active member of the St Joseph High School Booster Club and American Legion Post #398 of Elm. Dominic was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, loved his trips to the horse races and casinos and occasional card games at the firehouse. Dominic enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports, and visiting his grandchildren for school events for "Grandparents Day", talent shows and class plays.
