Donald Bedell Baker, Sr. age 88 of Winslow Twp. NJ passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, after graduating from high school he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Donald went on to have a wonderful career as a Salesman for Keystone Portland Cement Co. first working in Connecticut where he lived in New Milford, and later being transferred to New Jersey. He lived in Laurel Springs and Sicklerville before moving to live with his daughter Donna Kramer. He coached his sons in baseball and was an active member of St. John's Church and the Elks Lodge. His true love was playing golf at Little Mill Country Club where he was a member for many years. He had a love for dogs and enjoyed spoiling them with snacks each day. He is predeceased by his loving wife Jeanette (nee Beolchi ). Surviving are his children, Donald B. Baker, Jr. ( Linda ) of Bethel, CT, Richard Baker ( Janice ) of Farmington, CT, Douglas Baker of Winslow Twp. NJ, Jeanette Baker ( Stephanie ) of Berlin, NJ and Donna Kramer
( Fran ) of Winslow Twp. NJ. His sister-in-law Donna Richards (Lew) of Oxford, MD, and cousin Paulette Tighe of Cape May, NJ. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Jonathan, Kaelin, Douglas, Dillon and Francesca. He will be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces, Michael, John and Jennifer, Jeanann and William. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held at 6:00pm. Inurnment will be held privately at Locustwood Memorial Park at a later date.
