Elizabeth Christos

Elizabeth J. Christos (nee Shera), age 65, of Winslow Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.

Known to her loved ones as Beth, she attended Edgewood High School and proudly earned her BSN at Helene Fuld School of Nursing in 1994. Beth enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with Kennedy Home Health Care, where her dedication and compassion left a lasting impact on countless patients. She loved tending to her garden, was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan, and was an avid reader. Beth enjoyed traveling abroad, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially in their Wildwood Crest home in the summers.

Beth is now reunited with her beloved husband Thomas, her brother Bill, her first mother Ellen Jean, and infant brother Timothy. Beth will be forever loved and sadly missed by her daughters Brandy Mellett (Maureen) and Daria, parents William and Jean Shera, grandchildren Kayla, Autumn, and Evan, brother Stephen Shera (Cindy), many relatives, in-laws, and amazing friends who held a special place in her heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Beth's honor at Tomasello Winery in Hammonton, NJ, on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, from 1-4pm. A lunch buffet will be served and all guests are welcome to share memories during the event. We encourage you to wear a splash of her favorite color, purple.
