Elizabeth Kauffman

KAUFFMAN, ELIZABETH (BETTY) nee Lockwood, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2014 at home with her family around her. She was born in Chatsworth, NJ where she met and married her late husband Clifford Kauffman on October 26, 1950. During her married life, she and her family lived in several towns in New Jersey as well as in North Carolina for several years before moving to Mays Landing in 1989.
Betty worked for several years for >She is predeceased by her husband, Clifford and her oldest son, Clifford, Jr. as well as her brothers, Sonny, Joe, and Frank Lockwood and sisters, Vivian Inzerma and Claudia Lenski.
Betty is survived by her children, Irene Simpson (Herman) of Roseboro, NC; Norman Kauffman (Renate) of Chester VA; Suzanne Kauffman of Mays Landing, NJ; Dorothy Hinton of Autryville, NC; Wayne Kauffman of Trenton, NJ; Laura Cariota (Larry) of Brighton, TN; Rebecca Olguin (Hilario) of Autryville, NC; Hazel Toler (J.R.) of Roseboro, NC; Beverly Goldman (Vincent) of Buena, NJ; Claudia Bates (Eric) of Mays Landing, NJ; G. David Kauffman of Mays Landing, NJ.
She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Lockwood (Marge) of Roseboro, NC and Gordon Lockwood (Jane) of Mays Landing, NJ and her sister, Laura Burnham of Autryville, NC. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tues. 9:00am - 11:00am with services at 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Chatsworth, NJ beside her husband.
