Frank J. Sacco

Frank J. Sacco, age 84 of Hammonton, N.J. died Monday, July 1 at Kennedy Health Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Hammonton and was a life-long resident where he co-owned and operated Hammonton Cold Cuts from 1970-1990. He worked for the Heavy and General Laborer Union Local 172. After retiring he later helped his nephews at Scrapple Brothers Construction, Inc. in Hammonton. Frank served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Never There Gunning Club and the South Jersey Beagle Club. He enjoyed hunting and competing in field trials with his champion dogs. He also enjoyed making wine and sausage with his family. But most of all, Frank loved to just spend time with his family whether it was going to dance recitals, watching a ball game, sharing laughs or cooking together. His family was his priority and he was loved dearly by all.
He is predeceased by parents Joseph and Rose (nee Berenato), brothers Paul, Domenic, and Anthony Sacco, sisters Anna Panepinto and Mary Scoleri. He is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Mendolia), his daughters Debbie Graziano (Ralph), Sharon Sacco, Barbara Sacco (Anthony "Bubby"), and Donna LaSassa (Dennis). His sister Jennie Mazzagatti of Hammonton, NJ. He is the loving grandfather of Jennifer Aloisio (John), Christopher Graziano, Anthony Sacco, Frankie Sacco, Steven Sacco, Michael Andreini, Catherine Andreini, Danielle LaSassa, Jenna LaSassa, David LaSassa, and Dennis LaSassa III (Kristyn). He also has 1 great-grandson, J.R. Aloisio and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 am - 9:30 am at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. 3rd Street, Hammonton, N.J. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10:00 am, at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph's Church, 3rd and French Streets, Hammonton, N.J.
