Frank S. age 61of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Sunday August 3, 2014 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Phila. PA. with his loving family by his side. Born in Hammonton, NJ he graduated from Hammonton High School in 1971. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked for Asphalt Paving Systems in Hammonton. For many years he worked in his family business DeMayo's Auto Shop where he received many awards for being a specialist in painting and bodywork. He coached his children in the Hammonton Little League and was an avid boxing and Philadelphia sports fan. He loved playing the guitar and listening to the Beatles. Predeceased by his parents Frank J. DeMaio and Jeanette
( nee Merlino ) and brother Vincent. Loving husband of Nancy ( nee Gazzara ). Devoted father of Frank DeMaio ( Diana ), Matthew DeMaio, Lyndsay DeMaio and Shawn Selk all of Hammonton, NJ. Dear brother of Robert DeMaio and Angela Pinto ( Michael ) all of Hammonton, NJ.
Loving grandfather of Andy, Kristen, Joshua, Corey, Jake, Abby and Lexi. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Weds. eve. 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Thursday after 8:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 10:00 am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
