George A. Barbetto

George A. Barbetto, 63 of Hammonton, NJ passed away suddenly on September 7, 2013.
George was born and raised in Egg Harbor City and was a graduate of LaSalle University with a degree in Accounting. Post College he served as a volunteer with VISTA in Pittsburg, PA helping low-income families. Upon his return to the area he began working for Capaldi, Schalick & Reynolds, Certified Public Accounting Firm in Atlantic City where he obtained his CPA license and later became a partner with the firm. He then went on to become the Chief Financial Officer of Matlack Leasing in Phila., PA., from where he then retired. In his retirement he had enjoyed gardening, cooking and joy riding in his yellow corvette. He is predeceased by his parents, Florence Shellhorn Barbetto and George C. Barbetto of Egg Harbor City. George is survived by his wife, Nancy Campbell Barbetto, his 3 children, Michelle Fischl and her husband Louis of Ewing, NJ and Christy ( Michael ) and George of Hammonton. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Weds. Eve. 6:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday
8:30am - 9:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Martin Church Park Ave. & S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Egg Harbor City Cemetery.
