George H. Jr. age 90 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016 at the Hammonton Health Center. Born Feb. 6, 1926 and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII and was stationed for 14 months on the Island of Saipan, which was part of the Asiatic Pacific Theater. George moved to Hammonton, NJ in 1955 where he remained a lifelong resident. He worked as a Glass Blower for more than 35 years at the Wilmad Company in Buena, NJ. He had a lifelong interest in American History and music and in retirement enjoyed painting. He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Angelina ( nee Bertino ), his daughter Bertha Adams and son - in - law Joseph Falcone as well as a goddaughter and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday from 9:00am - 10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Entombment Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
