Harvey Gray Terry

Mr. Harvey Gray Terry, age 80 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his home. He was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina on September 26, 1940 to the late Henry and Virginia Bowman Terry. In addition to his parents, Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Evans Terry; a granddaughter, Pamala Terry; three brothers, Bobby, Clifford and Ronnie Terry; and two sisters, Lola Terry and Evelyn Wright. He had served in the United States Navy, and was a loving man. Mr. Terry is survived by four children, Yvonne Turner and husband, Robert of Claudville, Tony Terry and wife, Terri of Burlington, New Jersey, Tammie Black and husband, Herman of Roseboro, North Carolina, Steven Terry and wife, Heidi of Stuart; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Becky Cain of Kernersville, North Carolina; two brothers, Danny Terry and wife, Julie of Kernersville, Joe Terry of Raleigh, North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Betty Marshall of Mount Airy, North Carolina. Services will be held privately for the family.
