Ida Catherine Ruggiero

Ida Catherine Ruggiero (nee Bonner) age 82 of Blackwood, NJ and Melbourne, FL passed away peacefully September 24th, 2019 at her home. Ida was born and raised in Camden, NJ and graduated from Camden Catholic High School. She worked as a Children's Librarian for the Voorhees Branch of Camden County for over 13 years. Ida is described as having been the life of the party and one-of-a-kind, spiritual woman. She dedicated her life to loving her growing family and her faith. She also cared about the environment and left a green footprint as her legacy.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Elsie Bonner, her husband Richard Michael Ruggiero, three sisters, Mary Jones, Anna Sommers and Elsie Marie Dunne, grandson Daniel Ruggiero and son-in-law, Anthony Marino.
Ida is survived by her five children, Michael and his wife Debbie, Maryanne Marino, Richard, Jr. and his wife Maria, Mark and his wife Cheryl, Gregory and his wife Olga, eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Monday September 30th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Hope Parish - St. Agnes Church 701 Little Gloucester Rd. Blackwood, NJ. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ida's memory to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Cherry Hill Intensive Care Unit 2201 Chapel Ave. West Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
