James T. Colwell

James T. Colwell, age 78 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday September 7, 2024 at Pelican Pointe Rehab in North Cape May, NJ.

James was born in Elizabeth, NJ and he graduated from Glassboro State College earning a teaching degree. James worked for Hershey's Ice Cream in Hammonton for over 26 years and also at Gino Pinto Inc. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Folsom and proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam.

He is predeceased by his parents Harley and Bertha Colwell and his wife Diane. James is survived by his children, Brian Colwell and Sandy Bender, brother Harley (Deanna) and sister Leah. Loving grandfather to Austin Colwell.
