James F. Mccaffrey

James F. McCaffrey, age 91, of Hammonton, NJ, and formerly of North Cape May, passed away Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at Samaritan Center in Voorhees, NJ.
Jim was born in Philadelphia, where he was a Philadelphia Police officer. He owned and operated JF McCaffrey and Son, building many homes in North Wildwood. Jim served his country during Korea, in the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of Second Lieutenant.
Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Helen McCaffrey (nee Hundzynski) as well as his Brother John, Sisters Helen Snock, Joan Derago, Catherine Dougherty, and Grandson Ryan McCaffrey. He is survived by his Wife Arlene (nee Henderson), Son, James McCaffrey Jr. (Kelly) of Williamstown, NJ, and Daughter, Kathleen Munyan (George) of Philadelphia, PA. Brothers Joseph, Thomas, and Robert McCaffrey. Loving Grandfather of Mike McCaffrey, Steven Dawes, Brianna Saunders, and Derek and Rory Munyan. Great Grandchildren, Rylie, Kinley, and Torin.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, April 15th 2021 from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ; funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO BOX 758516 Topeka, KS 66675.
