Jeanette C. Obert

Jeanette “Jean” C. Obert (nee Newman), 77 of Folsom, NJ passed away Monday Decemeber 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Jeanette was born in Camden, NJ. She lived in Bellmawr NJ for many of her early years. She attended Mount Carmel Business School in Camden, NJ earning her high school diploma in 1964. She married the love of her life in 1965 and they eventually moved to Folsom, NJ to raise their family. She earned an associate degree in accounting in 1992 from Gloucester County College. Jeanette worked several jobs over the years her most recent was as a bookkeeper at TTMS in Bellmawr, NJ. She spent most of her time as a homemaker and enjoyed her time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Edward J. Obert, her parents Raymond F. Sr. and Lena Newman (nee Bumarch) and brother Robert W. Newman.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter Jeanette Arcuri (Rich) of Folsom and son Edward J. Obert II (Kim Santa) of Buena Vista Twp. and her brother Raymond F. Newman, Jr. (Georgene). Loving grandmother to Jessica Jones, Alexandrea Scott (Tyler), Edward J. Obert III, and Neila J. Espin.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday December 9, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:30am with a funeral services for Jeanette and Edward to follow at 11:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanette’s name to St. Jude Memorials.
