Joann 'Dolly' Wolf

JoAnn "Dolly" Wolf (nee Sarao) age 81 of Hammonton, NJ passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday August 27, 2013 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway, NJ. She was born during The Great Depression on February 6, 1932.
JoAnn attended St. Joseph School and started working very young beginning as seamstress at Kessler Shop, waitress at Sweetwater Casino then for Lenox China as a selector for many years. Her favorite job was being a mom and homemaker. For anyone who knew JoAnn, you knew she made the best "gravy" and meatballs, enjoyed collecting Lenox figurines, going to the casino and playing the slots, nights of bingo and helping her children raise their babies.
JoAnn was a proud mom, constantly catering to the needs of her children by cooking their favorite meals, shopping together and just being there for them. She loved to laugh and had a special love for dogs and cats.
From a young age, JoAnn was a fighter as she was the first recorded survivor of spinal meningitis and beat cancer twice. She inspired her children not to give up when life gets tough.
Predeceased by her parents Guy and Anna Sarao and brothers Joseph and Roger Sarao.
Surviving are her children Kenneth Shaw ( LuAnn ) of Egg Harbor City, NJ., Donna Saggese of Linwood, NJ, and her "twins", Terri Estrada ( Mike ) of Egg Harbor Twp., Tina Cavazzoni( Ken ) of Wall, NJ. Loving Grandmother of Jessica, Brittany, Allysa, Jonathan, Isabella, Giulianna, Gabriel, Ava and Jacob. Great Grandmother to Jonathan and Addison . She also leaves behind nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday from 9am until 11am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N. White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ.
