Joanne Randazzo

Joanne Randazzo ( nee DeMatteo ) on September 19, 2017 passed away peacefully at her home, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family.  Born July 14, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA Joanne grew up in South Philadelphia. She met her husband, Chris, and together they opened Randazzo's Bakery, which they owned and operated. It was there that they started their family, having two daughters, Angela and Ann Marie. In 1981 Joanne and her family moved to Hammonton.  She had four grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She did her best to spoil them every chance she got. Her favorite activity was buying gifts of candy and cookies for her grandkids, even after their parents told her to stop. Her grandkids enjoyed spoiling her in return as they grew older, always happy and willing to spoil grandma. Joanne is predeceased by her parents Anna and Ercole DeMatteo. She is survived by her husband Croce "Chris" Randazzo, her daughters Angel (Phil) Sharp, Ann Marie (Leo) Rizzo, her four grandchildren Erica, Anthony, Christopher and Nicole, her sister Sandra (Frank) Ricchini, her brother in laws Anthony and Joseph Randazzo, sister in law Margaret (Bernie) Capuano, and many many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved forever in the hearts of her family. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday from 9:00am - 10:45am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00am. Entombment will be in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S, First Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Donations may be made to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice 5 Eves. Dr. Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053. Arrangements entrusted to the Marienlla Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
