John J. Marino, age 73 of Landisville, NJ passed away at his residence on Friday December 6, 2024.
John was born in Philadelphia, PA and resided in South Jersey most of his life. He worked many years as a dealer at Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. John's most remembered for his talent remodeling and decorating homes with a unique touch. John was also one of the founders of the South Jersey AIDS Alliance. He was instrumental in the care of AIDS patients and their families.
He predeceased by his parents Ralph and Dorothy (nee Capella) Marino. John is survived by his spouse Mark Malenky, son Mark Marino, and sisters Joyce Marino and Carol Macaluso.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday, December 11,2024 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Another viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:30am - 10:30am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Thursday December 12, 2024 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church corner of French and Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ 08037.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
