John P. Chillari, Sr.

CHILLARI,
John P. Sr. age 95 of Hammonton, passed away Saturday March 4, 2017 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway, surrounded by his loving family. John was born and raised in Bridgeton. He graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1940 and enlisted in the U.S Army and served from 1942-1943.
John relocated to Hammonton in 1968 and worked as a sewing machine mechanic for W.B. Kessler Clothing Co. He later retired from the Federal Government as a Policeman in Phila. PA. He was a member of the Hammonton American Legion Post F.A. Funston Post #186. John is predeceased by his wife Sara ( nee Calabrase ), surviving are his children, John P. Chillari, Jr. ( Ginny ) of Folsom, Andrew B. Chillari ( Martha ) of Hammonton, Joseph Chillari of Holliston, MA, Rita Wentz of Bridgeton, and Virginia Crane of Meridian, ID.
Dear brother of Virginia D'Agostino of Vineland. Loving grandfather of 9 and great- grandfather of 10 and great-great-grandfather of 2. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday from 10:00am - 12:00pm with services at 12:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 0869.
