John Peter Martin

MARTIN,
John Peter, Sr. age 94 of Waterford, NJ passed away Thursday August 13, 2015 at The Residence at Oceanview, NJ. Born and raised in Waterford, NJ he was the youngest of 12 children. In 1939 he graduated from Hammonton High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII. John was the Head of Production at the Frankford Arsenal in Phila. PA for 30 years and proceeded to work for over 29 years for the State of New Jersey in the Prosecutors Office. Surviving are his wife Antonietta ( nee Del Gesso ), his son John P. Martin, Jr. and his wife Dina of Egg Harbor Twp. NJ and daughter Maria Ruggiero and her husband Rich of Sewell, NJ. Loving grandfather of 6, 3 Step Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 8:30am - 10:00am at Christ the Redeemer Parish - St. Anthony Church 436 Pennington Ave. Waterford, NJ. Mass will be held at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 300 W. White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
