John V. Bock, Sr.

John V. Bock, Sr of Hammonton, passed away November 24, 2017 surrounded by his family. John was born in Phila. and lived in Hammonton. He served in the US Army in Korea. John drove a dump truck for several local companies.He was a member of Hammonton Canoe Club, he loved to play pinochle, go hunting and fishing. He loved spending time in the yard and relaxing under the shade of his trees. John is predeceased by his parents Harry and Katherine (nee Scaffidi) Bock. He is survived by his wife Louise R. (Bruno) Bock, his children John V. Bock Jr. and his wife Amy and Tina Heffentrager and her husband George Jr. Loving grandfather of George Heffentrager III, Amanda Heffentrager, Nicole, Gabrielle and John Tyler Bock and great grandfather of Victor George Heffertrager. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing Saturday 9:00-11:00am with services at 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
