Jomarie Tritschler (nee Intelisano) age 95, formerly of Williamstown, NJ, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023.
Jomarie was born and raised in South Philadelphia along with her 8 siblings. She met the love of her life, George, while he was stationed in Philadelphia during World War II. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Parish (formerly St. Mary’s Church) where she was a Eucharistic minister and volunteered at the carnival fundraiser. At the age of 84, Jomarie retired from her career at West Jersey/Virtua Hospital after 48 and a half years of employment. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her home, shopping trips to BJs and Boscovs, and spending quality time with her family whom she adored.
She is predeceased by her parents Carmello and Rose (nee Anastasi) Intelisano, her husband, George Sr., and her sons-in-law Victor Anastasi and Andrew “Andy” Julia Jr.
Jomarie is survived by her children Jo Anastasi, Georg-Ann Julia, and George Tritschler Jr., (Lori). She is also survived by her siblings Philip Intelisano, Rita Intelisano, and Lucy Intelisano. Loving grandmother of Andrew Julia III (Stacey), Jeffrey Anastasi (Anita), Michael Julia (Tina), Georg-Ann Rao (Anthony), Brian Julia (Jeanette), Jamie Tritschler (Sean), Alyssa McHugh (Sean), 16 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. She will be missed by her fur babies Luka and Jameson.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 9:30am – 11:30am at Our Lady of Peace Parish – 32 Carroll Avenue Williamstown, NJ 08094. A mass of Christian burial will follow. Entombment will be in New St. Mary’s Cemetery – 515 W. Browning Road Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region 3925 Chestnut St #3110, Philadelphia, PA 19104 and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 , referencing Jomarie’s memory.
