Joseph A. Guerrier, age 87 of Little Egg Harbor, passed away August 23, 2019. Formerly of Hammonton, NJ, he played football for Hammonton High School. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a Corporal and worked as a chef in the field Artillery Battalion in the U.S. National Guard. He spent most of his life in Northfield, NJ with his children and loving wife of 65 years, Rosemarie. Together they owned and operated the Gateway Coffee Shop in Somers Point for over 11 years and he was a member of the Somers Point Lions Club. Joe loved hunting, fishing and golf and spent several great years living in Florida with his wife. He is predeceased by his wife Rosemarie (nee Pietrofitta); parents Frank and Rose; brother Frank, Jr. and Anthony; and sister Helen Rando. He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon and Dawn. Loving grandfather of Shane, Dustin, Courtney and Dylan, and Great-Grandfather of Caleb, Tully, Rinoa and Avery. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Tuesday Sept. 3rd at 12:00pm, with services at 3:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be private.
