Joseph Dill Hobbs

Joseph Dill Hobbs, age 81 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Peacefully January 27, 2020 at Virtua Health Center in Berlin, NJ. He was born in Onslow County, NC and enlisted in the U.S Army and served as a Specialist from 1956 - 1959. He moved to Linden, NJ where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the NJ Sports Exposition Authority - Meadowlands Race Course. After retirement he moved back to Onslow County, NC with his wife and in 2004 moved to Hammonton to be with his daughter and granddaughter.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents Lorenzo Dill and Margie Hobbs and his brothers George and Dane Hobbs. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (nee Miller), his daughter Jodi Hobbs and loving Granddaughter Kaitlyn both of Hammonton, NJ and his brother William Hobbs of Hampstead, NC.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday eve. 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street followed by his service at 8:00pm. Military Honors and Burial will be held Thursday 1:00pm at the Chapel of Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery 350 Provinceline Road Wrightstown, NJ.
