Joseph John Pizzi

Joseph Pizzi, age 79 of Audubon Park, passed away December 28, 2010 at Kresson View Center in Voorhees. Born in Hammonton, he was a 1949 graduate of Hammonton High School. Joe served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid trumpet player. He was a former member of the Oak Valley, Highland Chemical-Pitman, Glassboro and Audubon Park Vol Fire Companies. Joe is predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Jennie. Surviving are his children Joseph and his wife Dianne of Doylestown, PA, Michael and his wife Leslie of Hammonton and Deborah Cleveland and her husband Albert of Roanoke, VA. Brother to Julie Thompson of Egg Harbor Twp.Loving grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 5.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 10:00am with services at 12:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. ( www.marinellafuneralhome.com)
