Joseph T. Magee

Joseph T. Magee, age 92 of Folsom, NJ, passed away at Meadowview Nursing and Rehab Center in Northfield on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Joe was born in Hempstead, NY and raised in Long Island, before relocating to South Jersey. He was a proud US Army Veteran who served in the Korean War, and Boiler Inspector for Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance.

He is predeceased by his wife Margaret (nee Baldwin), his longtime partner in life Lila Capano, and parents Terrance and Helen Magee.

Joe is survived by his two sons, Andrew Magee (Ginny) and Daniel Magee, his two daughters, Noreen Gallagher and Trish Lohrman (Chris), and Lila's four sons, Mitchell (Jill), Robert, Blaine (Tina), and Darren (Laura); loving grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 4, as well as Lila's numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marion Montoux and Kathleen Burns.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday February 10, 2025 from 10am-12pm at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish -St. Joseph Church corner of Third and French Sts., Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm. Burial will be on Tuesday February 11, 2025 at 11am in Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
