Jovita Martinez-Heredia

Jovita Martinez Heredia, age 75, we gratefully celebrate the life of Jovita Martinez-Heredia in spirit, but firm action, Jovita went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 28, 2010.
She was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico in 1935. At the age of 32 she moved to Hammonton, NJ where she resided for 20 years and the remainder of her life in Edgewater Park, New Jersey.
Jovita was the beloved wife of Juan Martinez, and the dear mother of Alejandro, Mildred
(predeceased ), Luis, Andres, Juan Alberto, Orlando and Gerardo. She is survived by three siblings , Delia Reyes of Phila. PA and Daisy Guzman of Hammonton, NJ and Miguel Heredia of Puerto Rico. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren always placing their needs and care above all things. She enjoyed having all her children and grandchildren around her to share quality time and some good home cooking.
She was a former member of the Presbyterian Church of Hammonton, New Jersey
where she first met her Lord and Savior. She later attended Universal Church of Christ in Philadelphia. PA. She was a devoted Christian whose greatest joy was knowing and serving her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tues. eve 7:00-9:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, New Jersey . Service will be held Weds. 11:00
am at the Presbyterian Church of Hammonton 326 Bellevue Ave. Hammonton, New Jersey. Internment will be held in Greenmount Cemetery South First Road Hammonton, New Jersey.
