Kathleen A. Giacobbe

Kathleen A. Giacobbe (Cass Owens) age 81 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Saturday September 25, 2021 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, NJ.
Kathleen was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Hammonton most of her life. She was one of the first female officers working for the Division of Human Services at Ancora State Hospital. Kathleen loved crossword puzzles, dancing, sci-fi movies, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
She is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Kathleen McGowan; her brother Joseph McGowan; and her sister Dorothea Astl. Survived by her husband Frank Giacobbe Jr., daughter Debbie Owens-Spado, sons James Owens, Edward Owens, and Frank Giacobbe III, brothers John P. McGowan, Raymond Hemphill, James Hemphill and sister-in-law Gloria Giacobbe. She was a loving grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 3.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday September 30, 2021 from 9:00-10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Third and French Sts. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 260 W. White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ 08009.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice 265 Rt 73 Voorhees, NJ 08043.
