Kathryn J. Bruno age 80 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at the Heritage Assisted Living in Hammonton, NJ where she was a resident. She was born and raised in Egg Harbor City, NJ. She worked at her son's jewelry store, "David Charles Ltd" until she retired. She was an active member of the community. Kathryn graduated from Georgian Court University where she received a bachelor's degree in music. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family, especially her extended family at the Heritage Assisted Living. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years Charles, her parents Salvatore and Agnes Jiampetti, her in-laws Charles and Mary Bruno, her older brother George Jiampetti and his wife Anne, her brother-in-law Frank C. Bruno and his wife Louise, her sister-in-law Grace Littlefield and her husband Lance. Surviving her are her two sons "David Charles" Bruno and his wife Jackie, and C. Robert "Bob" Bruno and his fiancée Joey; her two brothers Robert (& Marlene) Jiampetti and Jonathan (& Carol) Jiampetti,wth whom she had a special relationship with, as well as her sister-in-law Anne Bruno, her grandchildren who loved her dearly David Jr, Taylor, Brandon, Kristen and her dear friend Rita Grace Gallagher who was always there to keep her laughing and smiling. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 14th 9:30 am to 11:15 am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish (St. Joseph Church) Third and French St. Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am. Entombment will be held at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ, immediately following. Donations may be made to St. Joseph High School 328 Vine St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
